Tributing one "X-Saber" monster is a cost to activate the effect of "XX-Saber Gottoms". You can Tribute a face-down "X-Saber" monster.: Synchro Monster > XX-Saber Gottoms
"XX-Saber" contains "X-Saber" in it, so "XX-Saber" monsters are also "X-Saber" monsters. You can Tribute a "XX-Saber" monster to activate the effect of "XX-Saber Gottoms". Also, "XX-Saber Faultroll" can Special Summon a Level 4 or lower "XX-Saber" monster from your Graveyard.: Can "XX-Saber Gottoms" activate its effect by Tributing a "XX-Saber" monster?
