This sword appears in the artworks of Really Eternal Rest, Guardian Baou, Morale Boost and Fairy of the Spring.
In one of the Master Guide 2 card storylines, it is revealed that this sword is the actual body of Guardian Baou. If Warrior Dai Grepher chooses the dark road shown in The Paths of Destiny, he will encounter and defeat Baou's false body. He will then claim this sword as his new weapon, not realizing the horrible truth about it.
In that same storyline, Warrior Dai Grepher transforms into the Dark Lucius cards, which forbids the opponent's Monster's effects from activating when they are destroyed by battle. This card gives the equipped Monster the same effect, strongly implying that Baou is possessing them.
Coincidentally, Joey Wheeler encounters a Red-Eyes Black Dragon possessed by a cursed sword in Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters. In a similar manner to how Warrior Dai Grepher is changed, Joey is merged with the spirit of Red-Eyes and becomes violent, attacking his friends. Unlike said warrior, however, he and Red-Eyes manage to break free from the sword's influence.

Amazoness Fighter: The effect of this card is applied even when it is attacked by "Dark Ruler Ha Des" or a monster equipped with "Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou".
OCG Rulings
Vylon Sigma: You can use the effect of "Vylon Sigma" to equip it with an Equip Spell Card that has an activation cost, such as "Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou". If you do so, then you do not have to pay the card's activation cost: With the effect of "Vylon Sigma" can you equip an Equip Card with an activation cost?
Sending 1 card to the Graveyard is a cost. This is not "discarding" so it doesn't trigger "Forced Requisition", and you can pay the cost even if "Goblin of Greed" is in play.
If a monster equipped with "Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou" attacks and destroys "Amazoness Fighter"Amazoness Swordswoman", their effects are not negated because they happen during damage calculation, before they are determined to have been destroyed.
Guardian Elma: You can equip a card with a cost, like "Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou" to "Guardian Elma" with her effect, and you don't have to pay the cost because the Equip Spell Card is not considered "activated".
