Card Trivia

Due to players initially using this card alongside Sangan, these two monsters are often shipped as a meme.
In addition to this: Both monsters also share the same Attribute, Type, Level, ATK, and DEF.
Sangan appears on this cards alternate artwork.
Tour Bus From the Underworld appears in this card's first artwork. In this card's alternate artwork, Tardy Orc also appears, alongside Sangan, and the bus is absent.
She also may have some relation with Beat Cop from the Underworld, as both appear as human-like girls and drive shadowy vehicles.
Both monsters also share the same ATK value of 1000 points.
The effect of Tour Guide could also be used to Link Summon Beat Cop in the same turn which could be viewed as a further reference to the possible relation of those two monsters.
This monster is possibly a reference to Vergil from the Divine Comedy, a person who guides Dante to the Underworld.
Additionally, this card is often ran in Burning Abyss decks due to all the main deck monsters in the archetype being Level 3 Fiends, while the archetype itself is based on the Divine Comedy.
Tour Guide is shown in this and the artwork of Tour Bus From the Underworld to have a set of fangs, matching the fact that she is indeed a Fiend-Type.
This card is the third TCG exclusive card to be restricted in any way, and the second one after Reborn Tengu that was not the result of a mid-format change.
Unlike Reborn Tengu, however, this card's OCG release had been confirmed by the time it was Semi-Limited, although it was not yet released.

This effect doesn't target.: Tour Guide From the Underworld

The "Its effects are negated, and it cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster" occur as part of the effect of this card that Special Summons a monster.

If a Fiend-Type monster Special Summoned by the effect of "Tour Guide From the Underworld" is flipped face-down by the effect of "Book of Moon" and then flipped face-up, or if it's banished by "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" and then returns to the field, the effects of that Fiend-Type monster are no longer negated. Also, that Fiend-Type monster can be used as a Synchro Material Monster.: If a Fiend-Type monster Special Summoned by the effect of "Tour Guide From the Underworld" is flipped face-down by the effect of "Book of Moon" and then flipped face-up, or if it's banished by "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" and then returns to the field, what happens with the negation of its effects?
Also, can it be used as a Synchro Material Monster?

The effects of a Fiend-Type monster Special Summoned by the effect of "Tour Guide From the Underworld" that are negated are the effects that activate on the field or that are applied as long as that Fiend-Type monster is on the field, but effects like "Sangan" that activate when the monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard are not negated.: A "Sangan" that was Special Summoned by the effect of "Tour Guide From the Underworld" has its effects negated, but once it's sent from the field to the Graveyard and its effect activates, is this effect negated?
