Card Trivia

Qliphoth and Sefiroth mentioned in this card's flavor text are concepts covered by Kabbalah, a set of esoteric teachings meant to explain the relationship between an unchanging, eternal, and mysterious Ein Sof (no end) and the mortal and finite universe (God's creation).
The Sefiroth (or Sefirot/Sephirot) are the ten emanations and attributes of God with which he continually sustains the universe in existence.
This monster is based on Tiferet.
This card's Japanese name contains ツール tsūru, a pun on tool and Kaitul (カイツール Kaitsūru ugliness), the sixth Qliphoth emanation which is associated with the Devil Belphegor.
This is the first card to include some sort of computer-related characters and syntaxes in its flavor text.
Tierra is a computer simulation of life in which computer programs compete for CPU time and access to main memory.
The Yen sign (¥) as seen in this card's Japanese flavor text is used in place of the reverse solidus (\), also known as the backslash, in computing paths in Japanese-locale systems. Similarly, the Won sign () as seen in its Korean flavor text is used instead in Korean-locale systems.
A blue and red Pendulum Scale appears on each end of this monster respectively.
This monster appears in the artwork of Qlipper Launch and Nephe Shaddoll Fusion.
Excluding Illegal cards, this card has the highest Pendulum Scale and DEF values for a Normal Pendulum Monster.
This is the first Pendulum Monster to become Semi-Limited, as well as the first Pendulum Monster to be on the Forbidden/Limited Lists.
It is also the first Qli monster to be Semi-Limited, and eventually Limited, though only in the TCG.
It is also the first Normal Monster to be Semi-Limited, and the first Normal Monster to be on the Forbidden/Limited Lists since Exodia's four limbs.

When the effect of "Qliphort Scout" resolves, if "Qliphort Scout" is no longer on the field because it was destroyed by "Mystical Space Typhoon", then the effect is not applied. When "Qliphort Scout" is destroyed by "Mystical Space Typhoon", it is placed face-up in the Extra Deck.: When the effect of "Qliphort Scout" resolves, if it is no longer on the field, what happens?
