Card Trivia

This card is the Number F and anime counterpart to Number S0: Utopic ZEXAL.
Both monsters are Rank 0 Monster Cards, and are so far the only ones to be released in TCG/OCG.
Both monsters can be Xyz Summoned by using Xyz monsters.
Utopic Future requires 2 non-Number Xyz Monster, while Utopic ZEXAL require 3 Number Xyz Monsters or simply discarding a Rank-Up-Magic Normal Spell Card and using a Utopia Monster.
This card contains the Japanese name of Yuma's mother Mira Tsukumo, whose Japanese name means future (mirai).
Interestingly, this can also be applied to her English name as Mira means peace in South Slavic languages. Not only this ties her name to Utopic Future, but her name also refers to the entire Utopia archetype that is the main focus on her son's deck.
This card is the first Rank 0 Monster Card, and the first Xyz Monster which requires multiple Xyz Monsters as Xyz Materials for its Xyz Summon.
This monster and its retrained counterparts Number F0: Utopic Future Slash and Number F0: Utopic Draco Future are the only Number F monsters.
This is the only Number monster to not originate from either Astral World or Barian World.
This is referenced by the fact this monster has the appearance of Number C39: Utopia Ray V fused with Number 39: Utopia Beyond. Utopia Ray V is of Barian origin, as it was created through a Barian card, and Utopia Beyond is of Astral World origin, as it was created through an Astral card.
This card is Yuma's successor for Utopia, and unlike the other Numbers, this card represents Yuma's own power, which he obtained without Astral. This is apparent considering that Astral did not absorb this Number at the series' conclusion.
This card's appearance resembles Yuma himself, having a red-black-white-orange color scheme that matches his casual outfit, the collar of his jacket as part of its armor, and metal protrusions on its head resembling Yuma's hair.
Yuma eventually fuses with this card for his last attack on Astral, which adds the Emperor's Key to this monster's body, atop the 0 on its chest.
This card's ATK and effect may also represent Yuma, as he is said to not want to harm his enemies directly (thus having 0 ATK) but rather let them join his side (thus the effect that switches control of the opponents' monsters).
This card also references Yuma's name which contains the characters for Horse: during the summoning chant, Yuma referred to this monster as Pegasus a winged horse and this card's wings become much larger and glow whenever it uses its effect or attack. Yuma's last name, Tsukumo, can be translated as Ninety-nine, and if one subtracts both nines it becomes 0.
This card also bears a slight resemblance to Number 39: Utopia Roots.
While this card's Number was displayed as 00 during its Summon, it only appears as a single digit 0 on its body (at the center of its chest). This makes it, Number S0: Utopic ZEXAL, Number F0: Utopic Future Slash, and Number F0: Utopic Draco Future the only Number monsters to have only a single digit on its body (all other single-digit Number monsters have been zero-padded so that they appear as 0X).
This monster's appearance and its number is based on GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] ELS Version with the swords, the wings, and the core in its chest.
This card shares several traits with Ultimaya Tzolkin, the first Level 0 Monster Card. They both have 0 ATK and DEF, and a condition that treats themselves as having a specific Level/Rank other than 0. Both monsters also appeared in the final battles of their respective series.
Outside of these similarities, however, this monster is almost the exact opposite of Ultimaya; Number F0 is a LIGHT Xyz Monster (black card frame), is treated as Rank 1 (the lowest Rank), and was used by an anime protagonist. Ultimaya is a DARK Synchro Monster (white card frame), is treated as Level 12 (the highest Level), and was used by a manga antagonist.

"This card is always treated as a Rank 1 monster." is not treated as an effect".: Number F0: Utopic Future

The "Cannot be destroyed by battle, also any battle damage either player takes from a battle involving this card becomes 0." effect is a Continuous Effect. (This effect is only applied during the damage calculation. Also, if the opponent's monster has lower ATK, the opponent's monster will be destroyed by battle.)

The "At the end of the Damage Step, when this card battles an opponent's monster: You can take control of that opponent's monster until the end of the Battle Phase." effect is an optional Trigger Effect. (This effect does not target, and cannot be activated if the opponent's monster is destroyed by the battle and sent to the Graveyard.)

The "If this face-up card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead." effect is a Continuous Effect. (Detaching the Xyz Material is not a cost. Also, this effect can be applied during the Damage Step.)

"Number F0: Utopic Future" is not treated as a "Utopia" monster.

Unlike using "Number 39: Utopia" as the Xyz Material for "Number C39: Utopia Ray" or using the targeted monster as the Xyz Material with "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", if you Xyz Summon "Number F0: Utopic Future", you must use monsters written on the card (in case of "Number F0: Utopic Future", 2 non-"Number" Xyz Monsters with the same Rank) as Xyz Materials and Xyz Summon as normal. If "Gagaga Cowboy" and "Gagaga Samurai" are used as the Xyz Materials for "Number F0: Utopic Future", "Number F0: Utopic Future" will have these 2 monsters as the Xyz Materials. Also, the Xyz Materials that "Gagaga Cowboy" and "Gagaga Samurai" had will not be treated as Xyz Materials for "Number F0: Utopic Future", and will be sent to the Graveyard.: When Xyz Summoning "Number F0: Utopic Future", what happens to the Xyz Materials that the monsters used as materials had?

"Number F0: Utopic Future" requires "2 non-"Number" Xyz Monsters with the same Rank" as Xyz Materials. ("Number" monsters including "Number C" monsters cannot be used as Xyz Material.) For example, "Gagaga Cowboy" and "Gagaga Samurai" can be used as the Xyz Materials for "Number F0: Utopic Future" since both monsters are Rank 4 Xyz Monsters. Also, "Number F0: Utopic Future" is always treated as a Rank 1 monster, but it does not require Rank 1 Xyz Monsters as the Xyz Materials. (You can Xyz Summon "Number F0: Utopic Future" using 2 Rank 1 monsters, but you can also Xyz Summon "Number F0: Utopic Future" using 2 Rank 7 monsters or 2 Rank 10 monsters.): How to Xyz Summon "Number F0: Utopic Future"?
