Card Trivia

 This card's name is a portmanteau of the words dragon, gluon, and long (Chinese for dragon).
This card's name is based on the elementary particle gluon, similarly to how the Galaxy-Eyes monsters are based on  and  particles. Gluons and photons are both , particles that transmit two of the , the  and  respectively.
Protron is also based on an elementary particle, in this case the , which is not a boson but a .
This monster resembles an Oriental dragon.
This monster's roar is the same one as the Crimson Dragon.
The tendrils growing out of this monster's head resemble the haircut of its owner, Jinlon.
This card's sealed form resembles a mix of the sealed forms of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, with the top half resembling Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and the bottom half resembling Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon.
This monster appears in the artwork of Dragon Dance.
This monster is a Dragon in the Legend of the Dragons of Light and Time.

The "●" effect is chosen when this effect is activated. If the "● Target 1 Dragon-Type monster your opponent controls; take control of that target." effect is activated, this effect targets. (If the other "●" effects are activated, this effect does not target.)

A monster whose control was taken by the "● Target 1 Dragon-Type monster your opponent controls; take control of that target." effect remains taken as long as it remains face-up on the field.

The "● Dragon-Type monsters your opponent controls cannot activate their effects until the end of your opponent's turn." effect can be activated even if your opponent does not control Dragon-Type monsters. Furthermore, this effect is also applied to Dragon-Type monsters that appear on your opponent's side of the field afterwards, and their effects cannot be activated.: Can the "● Dragon-Type monsters your opponent controls cannot activate their effects until the end of your opponent's turn." effect of "Number 46: Dragluon" be activated if the opponent does not control Dragon-Type monsters?
