Card Trivia

This monster appears in the artwork of Zefra Divine Strike.
This monster is Dance Princess of the Nekroz wearing armor based on Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth,
This monster shares the same Level, ATK, and DEF as the aforementioned monster, and has a similar effect dealing with banishing cards en mass. The summoning restrictions on this monster are also similar to the original.
All of the visual traits of the original Sophia have carried over to this monster, including its wings, horns, tattoos, dress, armbands, waist guards, and the two Gishki Aquamirrors worn as a bra. However, there are two major visual differences between the outfits of Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth and its Nekroz counterpart:
A Nekroz Mirror appears on the stomach of Nekroz of Sophia, where the original had nothing.
The two colored orbs seen in this monster's artwork appear larger and in greater detail than in Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth. However, this is not because they are different orbs– they are actually the very same pair depicted in the original monster's art. While all the other parts of the original Sophia were resized to fit Dance Princess of the Nekroz the orbs stayed the same size– the Nekroz monster is simply that much smaller than the original.
This monster is the first Level 11 Ritual Monster, as well as the first Level 11 Spellcaster monster.
This monster is the first Nekroz Ritual Monster not to be based on a Synchro Monster.
It is also the first LIGHT Nekroz monster.
It is also the second Nekroz monster to have an Attribute other than WATER, the first being Zefraxa, Flame Beast of the Nekroz of the FIRE Attribute.
This card is the first Ritual Monster to specify where the Tributes used to Ritual Summon it must originate, in this case, the field.

On Summoning this card

This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by Ritual Summon from your hand. (It cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with "Monster Reborn" or "Nekroz Cycle".): Nekroz of Sophia

This card must be Ritual Summoned from your hand by using 3 monsters you control with different Types.: How can you Summon "Nekroz of Sophia?
Example: To Ritual Summon "Nekroz of Sophia", you can activate "Nekroz Mirror" and Tribute from your side of the field 1 "Great Sorcerer of the Nekroz" (Level 4 Spellcaster-Type), 1 "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands" (Level 4 Fairy-Type) and 1 "Nekroz of Clausolas" (Level 3 Warrior-Type).
To Summon "Nekroz of Sophia", you cannot do the following:
Ritual Summon by Tributing an opponent's monster affected by "Soul Exchange".
Apply the effect of "Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz" and use it as the entire requirement.
Banish "Djinn Releaser of Rituals" from the Graveyard or use the effect of "Nekroz Mirror" to banish monsters from the Graveyard instead of Tributing.
Tribute monsters from your hand using the effect of "Nekroz Mirror".
Ritual Summon "Nekroz of Sophia" from the Graveyard using the effect of "Nekroz Cycle".
Ritual Summon by sending Normal Monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard using the effect of "Advanced Ritual Art".
Ritual Summon by sending 1 monster from your Extra Deck to the Graveyard using the effect of "Nekroz Kaleidoscope".

On preventing Special Summons from the Extra Deck

The "During either player's Main Phase 1: You can discard this card and 1 "Nekroz" Spell Card; your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck during this phase." effect is a Quick Effect that is activated from the hand. (It does not target. Discarding this card and 1 "Nekroz" Spell Card is a cost to activate this effect.)

This effect can be activated even if the effect of "Macro Cosmos" is being applied. In this case, when this card and 1 "Nekroz" Spell Card are discarded, they are banished, but the effect is applied normally.: While "Macro Cosmos" is active, can the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" that is activated from the hand be activated?

After this effect is applied, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck during the Main Phase 1. Therefore, your opponent cannot Special Summon "Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio" using the "Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by banishing the above cards you control, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. (You do not use "Polymerization".)" procedure.: After the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" that is activated from the hand is applied, can the opponent Special Summon "Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio" from the Extra Deck?

After this effect is applied, even if this card is banished from the Graveyard by the effect of "D.D. Crow", your opponent still cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck during the Main Phase 1.: After the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" that is activated from the hand is applied, if "Nekroz of Sophia" is no longer in the Garveyard, can the opponent Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck?

After this effect is applied, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck during the Main Phase 1. Your opponent cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck using card effects like "Polymerization", also they cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck even if they do do not start a Chain Link like Synchro or Xyz Summons.: After the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" that is activated from the hand is applied, can the opponent Synchro or Xyz Summon?

This effect is only applied during the Main Phase 1 in which the effect was activated. During the Battle Phase or Main Phase 2 of the same turn, your opponent can Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck.: Is the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" that is activated from the hand applied forever?

If this effect is activated in a chain to an opponent's "Polymerization", since your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, the effect of "Polymerization" is not applied. (The Fusion Monster remains in the Extra Deck and the Fusion Materials are not sent to the Graveyard.): If the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" that is activated from the hand is activated in a chain to an opponent's "Polymerization", what happens?

On banishing cards

The "When this card is Ritual Summoned: You can banish all other cards on the field and in the Graveyards. You cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this effect." effect is a Trigger Effect that is activated from the field. (It does not target.)

This effect cannot be activated during a turn in which you have already Normal Summoned/Set or Special Summoned other monsters.: During a turn in which you have already Normal Summoned/Set or Special Summoned other monsters, if "Nekroz of Sophia is Ritual Summoned, can its effects be activated?

If the activation of this effect is negated by the effect of "Light and Darkness Dragon", you can Normal Summon/Set or Special Summoned other monsters. If this effect is negated by the effect of "Skill Drain", you cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summoned other monsters.: If the activation or the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" that is activated when it is Ritual Summoned is negated, can you Normal Summon/Set or Special Summoned other monsters?

While the effect of "Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer" of "Necrovalley" is being applied, you cannot banish cards from the Graveyard. If there is at least 1 card in the Graveyards, this effect cannot be activated since it will banish cards from the Graveyard. If there are no cards in the Graveyards, this effect can be activated. If you do, all other cards on the field are banished as usual.: While the effect of "Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer" of "Necrovalley" is being applied, can the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" be activated when it is Ritual Summoned?

If this effect is activated and "Imperial Iron Wall" is activated in a chain, no cards are banished, but "You cannot Normal/Set or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this effect." is still applied.: If the effect of "Nekroz of Sophia" is activated when it is Ritual Summoned and "Imperial Iron Wall" is activated in a chain, what happens?

When resolving this effect, all cards on the field and in the Graveyards are banished, except this card. This effect can be activated even if there are no cards in one of the fields or Graveyards.: When "Nekroz of Sophia" is Ritual Summoned, if there is not at least 1 card in both players fields and Graveyards, can the effect be activated?
