This monster is based on a microscope. Its Attack Position effect reflects that by being able to search out other Morphtronics. It's Defense Position effect may also reference this in regards to its zooming. Level 4 can be seen as a magnification of 4x, which is a smaller zooming range that is typical of optical microscopes, which is the type of microscope this monster takes after.

The "Attack Position:" effect does not target.: Effect Monster > Morphtronic Scopen
For the "Attack Position:" effect of "Morphtronic Scopen", destroying the monster during the End Phase does not start a Chain. If the Special Summoned monster is flipped face-down with "Book of Moon" or removed from play temporarily with "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", then the monster is not destroyed during the End Phase.: Does it start a Chain when the monster Special Summoned by "Morphtronic Scopen" is destroyed?
