Mama Quilla is the Inca goddess of the moon and wife of Inti, god of the sun.
Quilla is also the Quechua word for moon.
This monster is the opposite of Sun Dragon Inti:
Inti is a Synchro Monster; this card, although it's also a Synchro Monster in the OCG/TCG, is a Dark Synchro Monster in the anime.
Inti is LIGHT; this card is DARK.
Both cards are drawn in opposite poses and have opposite color schemes.
This card's effect increases LP, while the effect of Inti inflicts damage.
Unlike other monsters which were originally Dark Synchro Monsters in the anime, this card does not list any DARK Tuner as its Tuner monster, but rather a specific monster: Supay (who is EARTH). In addition, it is the only ex-Dark Synchro Monster to have no Type restriction on the other non-Tuner Synchro Material Monsters.
This card was the first Dark Synchro Monster to make it into a regular Booster Pack as a Synchro Monster.
This monster appears in the artwork of Earthbound Resonance.
The Special Summon effects of this card and Sun Dragon Inti resemble the actual cycle of the sun and the moon.

Sun Dragon Inti: Special Summoning "Moon Dragon Quilla" does target.
The effect to Special Summon "Moon Dragon Quilla" activates even if "Sun Dragon Inti" is not in the Graveyard during the Standby Phase as long as there is a "Moon Dragon Quilla" in the Graveyard.
If "Sun Dragon Inti" is on the field or in the Extra Deck during the Standby Phase then its effect to Special Summon "Moon Dragon Quilla" activates and "Divine Wrath" is Chained, the effect is negated but "Sun Dragon Inti" is not destroyed.
The effect to Special Summon "Moon Dragon Quilla" does not activate in any specific place, regardless of where "Sun Dragon Inti" is at the time. "Light-Imprisoning Mirror" cannot negate it.
OCG Rulings
The effect of "Moon Dragon Quilla" which increases Life Points by half the ATK of an attacking monster does not target.: Synchro Monster > Moon Dragon Quilla: Does either effect of "Moon Dragon Quilla" target?
The effect of "Moon Dragon Quilla" targets one "Sun Dragon Inti" in your Graveyard.
If "Moon Dragon Quilla" is destroyed in the middle of resolving a Chain - for example, by the effect of "Raigeki Break" which was activated at Chain Link 2 or higher - then the effect of "Moon Dragon Quilla" which Special Summons "Sun Dragon Inti" will activate after the Chain finishes resolving.: If "Moon Dragon Quilla" is destroyed in the middle of a resolution, then can the effect which Special Summons "Sun Dragon Inti" be activated?
The Life Point-increasing effect of "Moon Dragon Quilla" only activates if "Moon Dragon Quilla" is face-up on the field and is selected as the attack target of an opponent's monster. If a face-down "Moon Dragon Quilla" is selected as an attack target, then its Life Point-increasing effect does not activate.: If a face-down "Moon Dragon Quilla" is selected as an attack target, the does its effect activate?
