This card is based off the mallet with the same name, from a Japanese fairytale Issun-Boushi or One Inch Boy. It is the Japanese version of Tom Thumb. The Uchide no Kozuchi could grant any wish with one swing, and it was used on Issun-Boushi to make him grow to normal size.
This card is therefore the only card from the Fairy Tale series to not be based on a Western fairytale, or used by Leon von Schroeder in the anime.
Magical Mallet has a similar effect to Reload, but is a Normal Spell Card instead of a Quick-Play Spell Card. The trade off is the ability to send any number of cards from your hand, rather than the whole hand, to your Deck.
