Card Trivia

This card is the only music-themed Djinn Xyz Monster whose Rank is not 3.
Maestroke, Melomelody the Brass Djinn, Muzurhythm the String Djinn and Temtempo the Percussion Djinn may have been based off the Kingdom Hearts enemy, Symphony Master.
This monster appears in the artworks of Resurrection March and Xyz Encore.
This card's name is a portmanteau of the words maestro and stroke, the former being a title given to master musicians with extreme respect and an Italian word for teacher or master.

The effect that flips 1 face-up Attack Position monster the opponent controls to face-down Defense Position targets.: Xyz Monster > Maestroke the Symphony Djinn

Detaching 1 Xyz Material is a cost.

If this card would be destroyed, it can also detach 1 Xyz Material instead.

If you control multiple copies of "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn" and multiple "Djinn" Xyz Monsters would be destroyed simultaneously by "Dark Hole", the effect of "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn"can be applied. Also, even if you control 2 "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn", you only apply the effect of 1 of them.: If you control multiple copies of "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn" and multiple "Djinn" Xyz Monsters would be destroyed simultaneously by "Dark Hole", can the effect of each "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn" that detaches Xyz Materials instead be applied?

If a "Djinn" Xyz Monster you control was targeted by the opponent "Raigeki Break", and the opponent chained "Enemy Controller" to take control of that monster, the monster is no longer "a face-up "Djinn" Xyz Monster you control that would be destroyed", so the effect of "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn" cannot be applied.: A "Djinn" Xyz Monster you control was targeted by the opponent's "Raigeki Break", and the opponent chained "Enemy Controller" to take control of that monster. In this case, if you control a "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn", can you apply its effect that detaches Xyz Materials instead?
