While it no longer has the highest ATK or DEF among EARTH, Machine or Level 10 monsters, its combined ATK and DEF is still the highest among Level 10 monsters.
Its ATK and DEF are equal to the combined ATK and DEF of the Tributes required to Summon it, similar to Master of Oz and Reaper on the Nightmare, whose Fusion Material Monsters' respective ATK and DEF add up to their respective ATK and DEF.
This monster's appearance is a combination of the three monsters used as Tribute to Summon it: Machina Soldier making the legs and head, Machina Sniper making the body, and Machina Defender making the lower torso, feet and upper turrets.
This is the only monster with 4600 ATK as well as the only monster with 4100 DEF.
This card, along with Machina Sniper and Machina Defender, has its guns edited to look like lasers for the TCG art.
This card, Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, Meklord Astro Mekanikle, Flying Fortress SKY FIRE, Water Dragon, and Gate Guardian are the only TCG/OCG combined form monsters that are neither Fusion Monsters nor require their parts to be banished to Summon them, unlike the A-to-Z series and Armityle the Chaos Phantasm.
It also has similar Summoning Conditions to Meklord Astro Mekanikle, Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, Gate Guardian, Water Dragon and Flying Fortress SKY FIRE.
This card has a Dark counterpart, Machina Ruinforce.

Commander Covington: If you do not have a “Machina Force” in your hand or Deck, you cannot activate the effect of “Commander Covington.” If you no longer have one when the effect resolves, your opponent can ask to verify.
