This card was released to the OCG in the same month that Yata-Garasu was made Forbidden. Its effect of letting its controller draw cards can be considered the opposite of Yata-Garasu's effect which prevents drawing.
In German video games this card is called Leiche von Yata-Garasu, while it is called Vermächtnis von Yata-Garasu when released in Premium Pack. Leiche means corpse and Vermächtnis means legacy.
This card is technically a more powerful version of Jar of Greed as it can allow you to draw an extra card if your opponent has a face-up Spirit monster, unless you plan on combining Jar of Greed with “Jar Turtle”.

When you activate “Legacy of Yata-Garasu” while your opponent has a Spirit monster face-up on their side of the field and you select to activate the second effect of “Legacy of Yata-Garasu”, if your opponent chains an effect that removes the Spirit monster from the field or flips it face-down, the effect of “Legacy of Yata-Garasu” will still resolve.
