OCG Rulings
The effect "This card gains 200 ATK for each Insect-Type monster on the field" is a Continuous Effect.: Insect Queen
The effect "Cannot declare an attack unless you Tribute 1 monster" is a Continuous Effect.
The effect "During the End Phase, if this card destroyed an opponent's monster by battle this turn: Special Summon 1 "Insect Monster Token" (Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100) in Attack Position" is a Trigger Effect.
The effect "Special Summon 1 "Insect Monster Token" (Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100) in Attack Position" activates only once during the End Phase. Even if that "Insect Queen" destroyed 2 or more monsters by battle in the same turn, the effect only activates once and only 1 "Insect Monster Token
If "Insect Queen" destroyed an opponent's monster by battle, and it is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard before reaching the End Phase in which the monster effect activates, the monster effect "Special Summon 1 "Insect Monster Token" (Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100) in Attack Position" does not activate.: After "Insect Queen" destroyed an opponent's monster by battle, if it is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard during Main Phase 2, does the monster effect of "Insect Queen" activate during the End Phase?
Insect Monster Tokens are placed during the End Phase, not during the Battle Phase when "Insect Queen" destroys a monster.
The Insect Monster Token is Special Summoned to the side of the field of the player who controls "Insect Queen" at the time the Insect Monster Token is Summoned, even if control of "Insect Queen" changed between the Battle Phase and the End Phase.
If "Insect Queen" destroys a monster but is not on the field during the End Phase, no Insect Monster Token is Special Summoned.
No Insect Monster Token is Special Summoned if it is impossible (due to "Jam Breeding Machine", etc.).
If you want to use "Royal Oppression" to negate the Special Summon of an Insect Monster Token, you chain it to the activation of "Insect Queen"’s effect during the End Phase.
If you Tribute "Pinch Hopper" to attack with Insect Queen, you can activate "Pinch Hopper"’s effect.
Dark Magic Curtain: If you activate “Dark Magic Curtain” to Special Summon “Dark Magician” and later in the turn another effect would cause you to Special Summon a monster, you will not be able to Special Summon the monster. For example, your “Insect Queen” would not be able to Special Summon an “Insect Monster Token” during your End Phase.
Pinch Hopper: If you offer "Pinch Hopper" as a Tribute to attack with "Insect Queen", you can resolve "Pinch Hopper"s effect after attack declaration.
Royal Oppression: When "Insect Queen" destroys your opponent's monster, an "Insect Monster Token" is Special Summoned during the End Phase, and the effect of "Royal Oppression" can be activated at that time to negate the Special Summon and destroy "Insect Queen".
Insect Monster Tokens are placed during the End Phase for each monster "Insect Queen" destroyed that turn (1 for 1).The latest print of "Insect Queen" uses Problem-Solving Card Text, which makes clear that it only Special Summons 1 "Insect Monster Token".
