Card Trivia

This card has an effect similar to Destiny End Dragoon and Turbo Cannon.
This monster appears in the artwork of Infernity Barrier.
This monster, used by Jack Atlas, bears a resemblance to Kalin Kessler's Dread Dragon.
This card is Kalin's Infernity parallel to his Dark Signer's Dark Synchro Monster One Hundred-Eyed Dragon.
They are both Level 8 DARK Attribute monsters with have 3000 ATK and require a DARK Attribute Tuner monster to Synchro Summon themselves. The difference, however, is that the non-Tuner monsters used to Synchro Summon Infernity Doom Dragon don't have to be Fiend-Type monsters.
There appears to be a portion of its brain revealed in between the various prongs that circulate its head (the small pink matter cluster visible directly above its eyes).
As revealed in the art of Infernity Barrier, Infernity Doom Dragon actually has a perfectly round ridge of horns, with the brain placed perfectly in the middle - this may imply that the horns of Infernity Doom Dragon are, in fact, sections of its skull that are opened up, surrounding the brain.
This monster somewhat breaks the theme of many Infernity monsters taking after classical American Western themes - cowboys, Native Americans and the like, though some also resemble European knights and demons - but still fits in by way of resembling a daemonic, somewhat twisted interpretation of a usual concept (in this case a dragon), much like the other Infernity monsters appear to be twisted, demonic versions of Spaghetti Western stereotypes.
In fact, this is easily one of the most abstract looking dragons in the game, resembling, in equal measures, a classical dragon, an insect, some type of horned biped, and a Xenomorph from the Alien series.

Rulings

TCG Rulings

This effect targets 1 monster your opponent controls. It can even target face-down monsters.: The Shining Darkness Sneak Peek -- Card Rulings (Version 1.0)

You destroy the monster and inflict damage at the same time.

The damage dealt is half of the ATK of the monster while it was on the field. If you destroy a face-down monster, no damage is dealt.

OCG Rulings

The effect of "Infernity Doom Dragon" targets one monster on your opponent's side of the field.: Synchro Monster > Infernity Doom Dragon

You can use the effect of "Infernity Doom Dragon" to target and destroy a face-down monster, but the damage-inflicting effect will not be applied.

If an effect like "Jar of Greed" is Chained to the effect of "Infernity Mirage" so that you have a card in your hand when resolving the effect, then the effect of "Infernity Mirage" still resolves properly. This rulings also applies to similar cards, like "Infernity Necromancer", "Infernity Force", "Infernity Doom Dragon", "Infernity Break", "ZERO-MAX", etc.: If you have one or more cards in your hand when resolving the effect of a card like "Infernity Mirage", then can you draw?

The damage inflicted by the effect of "Infernity Doom Dragon" is equal to half the ATK of the destroyed monster while it is on the field.: For the damage-inflicting effect of "Infernity Doom Dragon", the damage inflicted uses the ATK of the destroyed monster at what time?
Example: If "Infernity Doom Dragon" destroys a "Sangan" equipped with "Axe of Despair" (2000 ATK), then you inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.
