Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts is one of many Beast-Type Monsters to be given the title of King, the others being King of the Beasts. Ojama King, Beast King Barbaros, Alpha, the Master of Beasts (referred to as a King through Beast King Unleashed) and Behemoth the King of All Animals.
This monster appears in the artwork of Double Summon and Brave Attack.
Even though it is named Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts, this monster better resembles a 'lion' which hunts 'gazelles'.
This card has the same ATK, DEF, Type, Level and Attribute as Pale Beast and Alligator's Sword.
Interestingly, despite having four claws on its front paws in its artwork, Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts is often depicted with only three claws in the anime. The number of claws it has can change between shots in the same episode, such as during Yami Yugi's Duel with Arkana.
This card has a retrained counterpart: Gazelle the King of Mythical Claws.

TCG Rulings
Berfomet: If "Berfomet" is not face-up on the field when its effect resolves, you still add "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" to your hand.
Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast: If more copies of "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast" are destroyed while in your Extra Deck by "Chain Destruction" you can activate their effects and Summon "Berfomet" or "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts."
