This is one of three noticeable Rock-Type monsters that are based on dinosaur bones, with the other two being Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo and Flint Cragger.
This monster is based on the Tyrannosaurus.
Also, this card is skeleton/fossil counterpart to Black Tyranno, another monster based on a Tyrannosaurus.
It is interesting to note that when this card was first Summoned in the anime, Ultimate Tyranno (who is also based on the Tyrannosaurus) was the Level 8 monster used.
