Card Trivia

Two copies of Level Cannon and a Damage Boost can be seen in the artwork of this card.
The egg-like structure in the center of the card resembles the cores, specifically Wise Core.
Aporia is able to merge with the card, something that has only been done with monsters in the anime prior, specifically The Winged Dragon of Ra and Malefic Truth Dragon.
Aporia can also be seen in this card's artwork, merged with the fortress, he can be seen as a very small human image just below the middle circle on the top part of the artwork.
Fortissimo is the Italian word for 'very loud'. Having in mind Aporia's split personality has names of singers (which are generally related to Italy), this makes sense.
This card's effect is similar to the secondary effect of Sargasso the D.D. Battlefield.  Both cards are Field Spell Cards that inflict Effect damage during the End Phase if certain monsters are/are not on your Field (this card if you don't control a Machine-Type monster and Sargasso if you control an Xyz Monster).
