Discarding 1 WATER monster is a cost.: Fishborg Archer
The effect that activates at the start of the Battle Phase of the turn in which this card was Special Summoned resolves as part of the effect that Special Summons this card from the Graveyard. It does not start a new chain at the start of the Battle Phase.
If a "Fishborg Archer" activates its effect, since the Special Summon was performed, even if that "Fishborg Archer" is used as a Synchro Material Monster or is destroyed by an opponent's card effect, so that it has left the field before the start of the Battle Phase, the effect that destroys all non-WATER monsters you control is still applied.: If a "Fishborg Archer" that was Special Summoned by its own effect is used as a Synchro Material Monster or is destroyed by an opponent's card effect, so that it has left the field before the start of the Battle Phase, is the effect that destroys all non-WATER monsters you control still applied?
