Card Trivia

This monster represents the FIRE Ignis, Flame.
Its ability to resurrect itself after being destroyed is reflective of Reincarnation Link Summon, an ability exclusive to Salamangreat - the archetype created by Flame and used by Soulburner. Specifically, it refers to Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix, which, aside from the sharing the Phoenix motif, was the monster Soulburner summoned in his Duel with Bohman to honor the sacrifice Flame made to save Soulburner from Windy - an act that resulted in Flame's demise. As such, it has similarities to Pyro Phoenix.
Unlike the monster it was most likely based on, Fire Phoenix both resembles and represents a phoenix, whereas Pyro Phoenix is only a phoenix in theme.
Being a Link-3, the amount of Link Arrows on this card is three-fourths of Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix's. Those three arrows are in the same position as three of Pyro Phoenix's as well (left, right and down).
Coincidentally, the position of its Link Arrows are Paradox Hydradrive Atlas Link Arrows rotated clockwise as Atlas was the monster Flame swore vengeance on for destroying the Cyberse World but ultimately failed to ever do so.
It has improved/weaker effects to Pyro Phoenix as well:
It has a destruction effect that triggers when its destroyed before reviving itself, where it destroys one monster the opponent controls, whereas Pyro Phoenix destroys all cards the opponent controls upon Reincarnation Link Summon.
It has a burn effect when it attacks, where it inflicts burn damage equal to its own attack, while Pyro Phoenix burns the opponent if they Special Summon a Link Monster equal to that Link Monster’s attack.
Lastly, its ability to make battle damage zero is akin Pyro Phoenix's anime effect where it can make the ATK of an opponent's monster zero if Pyro Phoenix uses its effect to Special Summon a Link Monster from the opponent's Graveyard to their field.
During the first Duel it debuted in, it also shared the same battle cry as Pyro Phoenix.
This card's @Ignister symbol is located on its chest.
This card's FIRE Attribute and first effect of converting battle damage to effect damage may be a nod to how cards that deal effect damage are fire-based artworks, like Sparks, Hinotama and Meteor of Destruction.
Oddly this card's Link Material is listed as 2+ Cyberse monsters (2+ Cyberse monsters, including a FIRE monster in the anime) despite the archetype's lack of a Link-2 monster.
