This card is based on the fairy tale Cinderella.
This card's effect reflects part of the plot of Cinderella: a fairy casts a spell (reflected in needing to discard a Spell card) to allow her to go to the royal ball, complete with giving her glass slippers (reflected by equipping an Equip Spell to this card). However, at midnight (represented by the end of the turn), the spell is broken (which is represented by the Equip Spell returning to the hand).
This monster has a book and a ribbon in her tail, like the other Fairy Tail monsters, but unlike the others, the ribbon in this monster's tail has patches, referencing how in the fairy tale Cinderella is commonly depicted wearing tatters.
“Glass Slippers” appears in this card’s artwork.
The reaction in the artwork possibly is a reference to Dark Magician Girl's reaction in the show when the glass slippers were transferred from Cinderella to her.
