Card Trivia

This monster is the cover card of Breakers of Shadow.
It is also the first ARC-V cover card that is not a Dragon monster.
This monster appears to be an older, Synchro Monster version of Timebreaker Magician and/or Timegazer Magician.
This is supported by the 3 monsters' similar hairstyles and blade-like arcs on their bodies, as well as the fact that Timebreaker Magician was used for this card's Synchro Summon in the anime.
In addition, the arc-shaped blade of Timegazer Magician appears on this monster's arms and the sword of Timebreaker Magician is similar to that of this monster's.
This card has same ATK, DEF, and Level as Stardust Dragon. This resemblance becomes more apparent after the reveal of this card's apparent evolution, Nirvana High Paladin, which has the same ATK, DEF and Level as Shooting Star Dragon.
This card's effect to add a Spell card from the Graveyard references Dark Magician of Chaos during its pre-errata stage and also the ability to inflict damage when destroying a monster is a reference to Elemental HERO Flame Wingman.
This monster appears in the artwork of the Advanced Tournament Pack 2016 Vol.1 print of Duel Checker.
