Card Trivia

The spear seems to be the union of all eight (at the time) of the Dragon-Type Dragunity Tuner monsters:
The Lance itself is built out of parts of (from top to bottom) Dragunity Partisan, head compartment of Dragunity Phalanx, Dragunity Javelin, Dragunity Darkspear, the shield of Dragunity Phalanx attaching to Dragunity Pilum, the body of Dragunity Brandistock followed by its head compartment which is blocked by the hand of Exa, Enforcer of Nekroz, the body compartment of Dragunity Aklys, the spear (head) of Dragunity Aklys and Dragunity Corsesca.
The head compartment of Dragunity Brandistock blocked by the hand of Exa, Enforcer of Nekroz can be seen in the artwork of Void Purification and  Zefra Divien Strike.
The base contains one wing from each of them; they are, clockwise: Dragunity Phalanx, Dragunity Darkspear, Dragunity Brandistock, Dragunity Aklys, Dragunity Corsesca,  Dragunity Pilum Dragunity Javelin and Dragunity Partisan .
Interestingly enough, if wings are cross-counted (i.e. top left = 1, top right = 2, second top left = 3 etc..) the number at which the wings position actually matches the order of composition of this lance (from top to the bottom), except Dragunity Corsesca (7) and  Dragunity Aklys (8), where they are swapped.
Total level of the wings (with respect to the monsters) on each side equals to level 8.
Compartments of the lance with green emeralds seen in the artwork of each Dragunity Tuner have their matched wings located all on the right-hand side.
The spear-like pattern seen in the artwork possibly indicates each Dragunity Tuner.
Exa, Enforcer of the Nekroz is featured on this card's artwork, possibly hinting that Exa is related to, but is not actually part of the Dragunity tribe, as he cannot be equipped with this card.
This lance appears in the artwork of Void Purification and Zefra Divine Strike.
The Spear of Destiny is one of the names of the spear that pierced Jesus' side as he was being crucified in the book of John.
Ironically, despite this card's effect requiring a Dragunity monster to equip it, no such monster exists in the booster set this card is in, nor the Duel Terminal storyline it coincides with. In fact, not only did this card come years after the last Dragunity monster was printed, and long after the Dragunity tribe had been wiped out according to the Duel Terminal storyline, but it took well over half a decade for them to finally get reintroduced in Cybernetic Horizon.
