This monster appears in Break the Destiny and its silhouette appears in the artwork of Fusion Destiny.
This is one of the few cards in the OCG whose Japanese name consists of only English alphabetical characters and punctuation, excluding furigana characters.
This card shares the same Attribute, Level, Type, ATK and DEF with Destiny HERO - Dusktopia.
This card is possibly the Destiny HERO counterpart to Elemental HERO Flame Wingman.
This card is used by Aster Phoenix and since he is the anti hero to Jaden Yuki, then this monster could be the anti-thesis to Flame Wingman. Also, this card is one of Aster's trump cards while Flame Wingman is one of Jaden's trump cards in the anime.
These monsters share some resemblances. Elemental HERO Flame Wingman has a dragon head on his right arm and Dragoon uses a dragon head for a shield on its left arm and has a dragon head on its chest plate.
These cards have similar effects in which they can inflict damage equal to a monster's ATK after they destroy them. The effect of Dragoon allows it to destroy a monster to inflict damage, but also restricts by not allowing it to attack, the effect of Flame Wingman requires it to destroy a monster by battle to activate its effect.
Dragoon is a type of mounted infantry that carried a type of firearm which could relate to this monster and its effect since the dragon head shield appears to be a cannon.
Dragoon is also a popular term for a 'dragon knight' made popular in video games. Destiny End Dragoon has a dragon's head on its chest, suggesting it may be intended as a dragon knight.
This card's Japanese name is a pun (Dragoon D-END), as it was the last Destiny HERO related card to appear in the Yu-Gi-Oh GX" anime.

The monster effect "Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy that target and inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK on the field. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect" is an Ignition Effect. (It targets 1 monster in your opponent's Monster Zone. It can target a face-down Defense Position monster.): Destiny End Dragoon
The damage inflicted to your opponent by the monster effect "destroy that target and inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK on the field" is equal to the destroyed monster's ATK on the field. (If a face-down Defense Position monster is destroyed, no damage is inflicted to your opponent.)
The monster effect "During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish 1 "Destiny HERO" card from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card" is a Trigger Effect that is activated from the Graveyard. (Banishing 1 "Destiny HERO" card from your Graveyard is a cost to activate this effect.)
If the activation or the effect of the monster effect "Special Summon this card" was negated during the Standby Phase, you cannot activate its effect again during the same Standby Phase.
D-Fusion: "D-Fusion" performs a Fusion Summon using "Destiny HERO" monsters as Fusion Materials, as long as they are the appropriate Fusion Materials for the Fusion Monster you are Summoning. In the case of "Destiny End Dragoon", if you are using "Destiny HERO - Plasma" and "Destiny HERO - Dogma" on your field as Fusion Materials, you can perform the Fusion Summon by sending them to the Graveyard.: Can "Destiny End Dragoon" be Special Summoned by the effect of "D-Fusion"?
D-Fusion: When performing a Fusion Summon with the effect of "D-Fusion" (such as the Fusion Summon of "Destiny End Dragoon"), you must use "Destiny HERO" monsters as Fusion Materials. Therefore, "King of the Swamp
"Destiny End Dragoon" cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard if it was not successfully Fusion Summoned before being sent to the Graveyard. For example, if "Destiny End Dragoon" is randomly sent to the Graveyard by "Success Probability 0%", it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard.
The damage inflicted with "Destiny End Dragoon's" effect is equal to the current ATK of the destroyed monster on the field. If you destroy a face-down monster, 0 damage is inflicted.
