The effect of "Dark Voltanis" which Special Summon it is a Trigger Effect which activates after you finish resolving a Chain in which a Counter Trap Card was activated. Tributing one DARK monster is a cost to activate this effect. You may also Tribute a face-down DARK monster to activate this effect.: Effect Monster > Dark Voltanis
