Ally of Justice Catastor: If “Ally of Justice Catastor” battles a monster like “D.D. Warrior” the monster will be destroyed by the effect of “Ally of Justice Catastor’s” effect without damage calculation. The effect of “D.D. Warrior” that would activate after damage calculation will not activate.
Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame: If Shura{{Spanremoved from play by battling “D.D. Warrior,” Shura’s effect does not activate.
OCG Rulings
This effect is a Trigger Effect.: D.D. Warrior
This effect does not target.
This effect activates after damage calculation, at the same timing that a Flip Effect activates.
The cards that are banished by this effect are placed face-up.
The effect activates at the same time that Flip Effects activate.: "D.D. Warrior" vs. "Penguin Soldier" (Flip Effect monsters)
If "D.D. Warrior" and/or the attacked monster is removed from the field before "D.D. Warrior"s effect resolves, then the remaining monster is still removed from play.
For example, if "D.D. Warrior" attacks "Penguin Soldier", then "D.D. Warrior"s effect becomes Chain Link 1 and "Penguin Soldier" becomes Chain Link 2. If "Penguin Soldier" returns "D.D. Warrior" to the hand, then "Penguin Soldier" is still removed from play.
When battling with "Ally of Justice Catastor", "D.D. Warrior"s effect will not activate, since he is destroyed before Damage Calculation (and "D.D. Allure Queen LV5: If “Allure Queen LV5” is Special Summoned by the effect of “Allure Queen LV3”, and is then permanently removed from play with “D.D. Warrior”, if it is later Special Summoned by an effect like “Return from the Different Dimension”, it is no longer treated as being Special Summoned by “Allure Queen LV3”. So it cannot use its first effect anymore.
Crystal Beast: If a "Crystal Beast" battles with a monster such as "D.D. Warrior" it will be removed from play by that monster's effect, you cannot activate your "Crystal Beast's" effect.
Imperial Iron Wall: If "Imperial Iron Wall" is active, "D.D. Warrior Lady's" effect cannot be activated. The effects of "D.D. Warrior" and "D.D. Assailant" will still activate, but their effects will disappear when they resolve.
Red Dragon Archfiend: "Red Dragon Archfiend's" effect activates after damage calculation in the Damage Step, before the effects of flipped Flip Effect monsters or the effects of cards like "D.D. Warrior" activate.
