This monster is potentially based off of the Shinto deities Izanagi and/or his wife Izanami, who were responsible for the creation of Japan. In the myth, it is said that Izanagi and Izanami were given a spear from Heaven, much like the one this card wields, in order to create the first solid ground on an ancient aquatic Earth.
This card is the only Cyber Angel monster not to appear in the anime.
