Card Trivia

This card is the first legal HERO card whose original name is not part of any HERO sub-archetype/series.
The only other one is the illegal E☆HERO Pit Boss.
This monster is based on Kamen Rider Double in his Fang Joker form, albeit with the white and black color scheme reversed.
This may be the reason it requires two Masked HEROes as Fusion Materials, as Masked HEROes are mostly based on Japanese superheroes.
This monster's effect further resembles Kamen Rider Eternal's finishing move, which could disable the regular power-ups of other Riders from Kamen Rider W.
This card is the first and so far the only HERO Fusion Monster that requires 2 Masked HERO monsters as Fusion Material.
Also, due to this card's Condition, this card is also the first and so far the only Elemental HERO Fusion monster that requires Masked HERO monsters as materials, uniting 2 of the main protagonist's HERO archetypes in both anime and manga into one card.
This monster bears a striking resemblance to Light and Darkness Dragon. Like Light and Darkness Dragon, one half of its body is white while the other is black, except that the order of the colors is swapped. Both monsters have abilities that negate cards from activating and both are treated as LIGHT and DARK monsters at the same time. Even this monster's debut in the GX manga one shot, where it appears next to Winged Kuriboh, is similar to the final Duel between Jaden and Chazz and Tragoedia, where, near the end of the Duel, they Summon Winged Kuriboh and Light and Darkness Dragon, respectively. It could be said that this monster is a reference to the friendship / rivalry between Jaden and Chazz in the manga.

"(This card is always treated as an "Elemental HERO" card.) Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways." is not treated as an effect.: Contrast HERO Chaos

"While face-up on the field, this card is also LIGHT-Attribute." effect is a Continuous Effect.

"Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; negate that target's effects until the end of this turn." effect is a Quick Effect. (This effect targets 1 face-up card on the field. It cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)

Even if this card was Special Summoned by Fusion Summon, it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by "Monster Reborn".

Since "Contrast HERO Chaos" is treated as both a LIGHT and a DARK monster while face-up on the field, it can be used as either a LIGHT or DARK Fusion Material for "Shaddoll Fusion". Therefore, it can be used as a DARK monster to Fusion Summon "El Shaddoll Winda" or as a LIGHT monster to Fusion Summon "El Shaddoll Construct".: If "Contrast HERO Chaos" is used as a Fusion Material by "Shaddoll Fusion", can you Fusion Summon either "El Shaddoll Winda" or "El Shaddoll Construct"?

Since "Contrast HERO Chaos" is always treated as an "Elemental HERO" card, you can Fusion Summon it with "Miracle Fusion". In addition, you can also banish "Contrast HERO Chaos" and an EARTH monster in the Graveyard with "Miracle Fusion" to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Gaia".: Can you Fusion Summon "Contrast HERO Chaos" with "Miracle Fusion"?

A monster that was affected by the "Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; negate that target's effects until the end of this turn." effect has its effects that activate or apply on the field negated.: If the effect of "Kuribandit" is negated by "Contrast HERO Chaos" and during the End Phase "Kuribandit" Tributes itself, is the effect applied?: If the effect of "Warrior Lady of the Wasteland" is negated by "Contrast HERO Chaos" and that "Warrior Lady of the Wasteland" is destroyed by battle, is the effect applied?
If the effect of "Kuribandit" is negated by "Contrast HERO Chaos", the "Kuribandit" that had its effects negated can be Tributed during the End Phase, but the effect is negated and it is not applied.
If the effect of "Warrior Lady of the Wasteland" is negated by "Contrast HERO Chaos" and that "Warrior Lady of the Wasteland" is destroyed by battle, the effect of "Warrior Lady of the Wasteland" that activates in the Graveyard is not negated and it is applied normally.

"Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; negate that target's effects until the end of this turn." effect can target face-up Monster Cards, Spell Cards and Trap Cards.: Can the effect of "Contrast HERO Chaos" target a face-up Spell/Trap Card?
