Card Trivia

This monster appears in the artwork of Jewels of the Valiant and Yang Zing Creation.
This card gains its name from the Sombrero Galaxy (also known as M104 or NGC 4594); an unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation Virgo located 28 million light years from Earth.
This is the 1st non-Xyz Constellar monster to be named after a galaxy.
This card is related to the Yang Zing archetype, as depicted in the artwork of Yang Zing Creation. It is said that Constellar Sombre brought them forth from the stars by using its power, as huge as a god's.
This card has a parallel effect to that of Evilswarm Kerykeion.
It also has opposite ATK and DEF compared to Kerykeion. This card has 1550 ATK and 1600 DEF while Kerykeion has 1600 ATK and 1550 DEF.
Several weapons/features belonging to other Constellar monsters are seen encircling this card, including:
The chakram used by Constellar Aldebaran
The claw used by Constellar Acubens
The wand used by Constellar Algiedi
The claws used by Constellar Leonis
The disk or shield used by Constellar Zubeneschamali
The wings of Constellar Ptolemy M7
The jar held by Constellar Siat
The swords used by Constellar Pollux and Evilswarm Castor (the latter is just barely visible on the far left)
The horns of Constellar Virgo, albeit inverted, as well as the spheres Virgo uses
The gun used by Constellar Sheratan
The swords used by Constellar Alrescha, barely visible behind Sombres cape
The claw used by Constellar Antares, barely visible on the right behind Zubeneschamalis disk
There are also the symbols featured on the background of those Constellars floating around this monster. The visible ones are ♋ (Acubens), ♌ (Leonis), ♍ (Virgo), and a small portion of ♎ (Zubeneschamali).
According to the Duel Terminal story line in the Duel Terminal Master Guide 2013, Gem-Knight Lazuli fused itself with the 12 Constellar monsters to become this monster in order to defeat Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth together with Evilswarm Kerykeion.
