Card Trivia

Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium. This could be the reason that this monster's Type is Plant instead of Beast.
Another reason, if looking closely at the artwork of the “sheep”, one can see that the 100% cotton tag is stitched to the side, revealing that this monster is actually just a stuffed animal made of cotton, which would mean its typing makes more sense.
In terms of design, this card may also be inspired by Barometz, a mythological creature that resembled a sheep but was actually made of plant material.
A boycott is a withdrawal from commercial or social relations with a country, organization, or person as a punishment or protest. This is consistent with the artwork (and name) of the card, as the sheep appears to be trying to protest the removal of its cotton for sale.
This also works with its effect protesting against you for it being attacked in the form of battle damage going to you instead, and then withdrawing itself from the field to your hand.
