This monster's appearance resembles Count Orlok from the silent movie Nosferatu. It also bears some resemblance to a Shtriga, a type of Romanian vampire.
Oddly enough, despite its demonic appearance, this card's artwork remains unedited. Also notable is that its name has not been changed (compared to cards such as Destiny HERO - Plasma and Il Blud).
It took 6 years for this card to be imported into the TCG after its initial OCG release.
Although this card is not a true “Vampire” monster, it still has a thematic relevance and resemblance to some of the older members of the archetype (such as “Vampire Lord” and “Vampire Lady”), which were focused on forcing the opponent to mill cards from their deck.
Another interesting thing to note is that this card has a very similar name to “Vampire Sucker”.
