This monster appears in the artworks of Cross Counter, Lucky Punch, Super Rush Headlong, The Big Cattle Drive, The Big March of Animals, Threatening Roar, Setuppercut, Underdog and Duck Dummy.
Despite being called King and obviously serving as an early powerhouse for Beast Decks, this monster usually appears in a humiliating position in the artworks it's featured in, being either scared or defeated by monsters that have less ATK.
Mad Dog of Darkness appears in this card's artwork.
This monster could be a reference to one of three great monsters of Middle-eastern mythology. Behemoth was the name of a massive mammalian monster that represented the earthly aspect of a trinity. Its first counterpart, Leviathan, the monstrous sea serpent dwelling in the oceans, could be considered to be Levia-Dragon - Daedalus or Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus. The third counterpart has not been represented in the game yet and is known as Bar-Yuchnei or Ziz, an enormous griffin-like bird so massive its wingspan could eclipse the sun for miles on end.
Some say the Ziz is comparable to the Persian Simurgh, so Simorgh, Bird of Divinity may represent the third beast.

OCG Rulings
"Fog King" uses the original ATK of the monsters while the monsters are on the field. (If "Behemoth the King of All Animals" is Tribute Summoned with 1 Tribute, then you use 2000.): When a "Beast King Barbaros" with 1900 ATK is Tributed for "Fog King", what does "Fog King"s Original ATK become?
"Intercept" can be activated when a Level 7+ monster is Tribute Summoned with only 1 Tribute (such as when "Behemoth the King of All Animals
It is possible to "properly" Tribute Summon "Behemoth the King of All Animals" with just 1 Tribute. For example, you can Tribute Summon it with "The Trojan Horse", or use "Cost Down" and then Tribute 1 monster because "Behemoth the King of All Animals" is only Level 5. In cases such as this, either 2000 ATK or 2700 ATK is correct, so the controller can select which ATK it will have.
If "The Trojan Horse" is Tributed to Tribute Summon "Behemoth the King of All Animals", you still only return 1 monster from the Graveyard to your hand, because it's the same number as the number of monsters you Tributed to perform the Summon.
If "Behemoth the King of All Animals" is Tribute Summoned with 2000 ATK, and is then flipped face-down or removed from play temporarily, its ATK becomes 2700 points when it is again face-up on the field.
If you Tribute Summon "Behemoth the King of All Animals" with 1 Tribute, and "Skill Drain" is activated, its ATK becomes 2700 points. Even if "Skill Drain" is destroyed, the ATK remains at 2700 points.
If you Tribute Set "Behemoth the King of All Animals" with 1 Tribute, its ATK will only be 2000 points when flipped face-up. However, once it is face-up, if it is flipped face-down again, the effect is reset and its ATK becomes 2700 points.
The second effect of "Behemoth the King of All Animals" is a Trigger Effect that can be chained to. It is a targeting effect that targets a monster(s) in the Graveyard.
If you Tribute Summon this card with 1 Tribute and equip it with "Megamorph", its current ATK will become 4000 or 1000, depending on Life Points.
