This monster is based on Baxia, aka Gongfu, one of the 9 sons of the dragon.
This was the first Wyrm-Type Synchro Monster to be released, and the first Synchro Monster in the ARC-V era.
This monster seems to be a merged form of Bi'an, Earth of the Yang Zing, Suanni, Fire of the Yang Zing and Chiwen, Light of the Yang Zing, as its stripes, mane and tail resemble those of those monsters, respectively.
This is also fitting once the combined Levels of those monsters match the Level of this card.
The Synchro Summon of this card, by using the aforementioned monsters, is depicted on Yang Zing Unleashed.
