Card Trivia

This card shares its gravity theme with Gravitic Orb, as both cards change a monster's battle position.

Suppose that your monster attacks, and your opponent activates "Zero Gravity". When your monster shifts to Defense Position, it is no longer treated as an attacking monster. If your opponent activates "Windstorm of Etaqua" during the same Battle Phase and switches the monster back to Attack Position, then the monster cannot continue attacking.: If a monster declares an attack, changes to Defense Position, and then changes to Attack Position again, then can it continue attacking?

Morphtronic Celfon: If "Zero Gravity" is chained to "Morphtronic Celfon"s effect, then you resolve the effect based on "Morphtronic Celfon"s Battle Position when the effect was activated (not when it resolves).: When "Morphtronic Celfon"s Battle Position has changed since the effect was activated, do you still resolve the same effect?
Example: "Morphtronic Celfon"s Attack Position effect is activated. The opponent chains "Zero Gravity". "Zero Gravity" changes "Morphtronic Celfon" to Defence Position, and then "Morphtronic Celfon"s effect resolves and you can Special Summon a monster.

Widespread Dud: If "Widespread Dud" is activated and an effect like "Enemy Controller" or "Zero Gravity" is Chained so that a targeted monster(s) is in face-up Defense Position when "Widespread Dud" resolves, then the effect of "Widespread Dud" will still be applied, and will still continuously target those monsters. Also, if "Widespread Dud" has resolved and afterwards an effect changes one of the targeted monsters to face-up Defense Position, then the effect of "Widespread Dud" will still be applied, and will still continuously target

Previously Official Rulings

"
Zero Gravity" won't flip a card face-down.

Mentions in Other Rulings

Amplifier"Jinzo with Amplifier", your Trap Cards are not negated and their effects are applied, including "Zero Gravity"

Berserk Gorilla:" If "Final Attack Orders" and "Berserk Gorilla" are both on the field, and the opponent targets "Berserk Gorilla" with "Ring of Destruction", and you chain "Zero Gravity", "Berserk Gorilla" is destroyed in the middle of the chain due to "Zero Gravity"s effect, and "Ring of Destruction"s effect disappears.

Shield Crush: “Shield Crush” will only destroy the selected monster if the selected monster is still in Defense Position when “Shield Crush” has resolved. For example, if you select a Defense Position monster to destroy with “Shield Crush” and the monster is changed into Attack Position by another card effect (“Zero Gravity”, etc.), the effect of “Shield Crush” disappears.

Tragedy: Missing the timing: The position change must be the last thing to have happened. If “Zero Gravity” was activated as Chain Link 2 or higher, you would not be able to activate “Tragedy”.
