Card Trivia

 This is the first Worm support card to appear in a Booster Pack.
This card is the Worm counterpart of Call of the Mummy and Herculean Power.
This card's artwork features the same city as Worm Zero (possibly Skyscraper).
This card's artwork also strongly resembles the city in the opening of Contra 3, another Konami game.
The artwork shows what appears to be Worm Zero in the center of the portal, and it looks like its lowering a monster to the city (a possible reference to its effect)
The city in this artwork is the one that appears in the background of Jurrac Impact

TCG Rulings



You can activate "Worm Call" even if "Light of Intervention" is active. You'll place the monster face-up instead of face-down.: The Shining Darkness Sneak Peek -- Card Rulings (Version 1.0)

If "Dark Simorgh" is Special Summoned by "Call of the Haunted" in a Chain with "Worm Call", the effect of "Worm Call" will not apply and no monster will be Special Summoned.

If you Special Summon a monster from your hand with "Worm Call" you must show the monster to your opponent first.


OCG Rulings



This effect can only be activated during your Main Phase.: Worm Call

The effect which Special Summons a "Worm" monster from your hand starts a Chain Link.

High Level Normal Summon Monsters can be Special Summoned from your hand by this effect.

Special Summon monsters cannot be Special Summoned from your hand by this effect.
