Card Trivia

This card and Cyber End Dragon are the first Level 10 Machine monsters, debuting in Cybernetic Revolution.
The Warrior monster shown on top of the Machine monster, UFOroid, is Elemental HERO Tempest, which is appropriate because the first Warrior to become UFOroid Fighter was Elemental HERO Tempest in the anime.
Interestingly. this card predates the release of Tempest by about three months in the TCG and OCG.
It could be argued that this is GX's equivalent to Black Skull Dragon/Dark Flare Knight because it is a Fusion Monster of a main character's card (Elemental HERO Tempest and Summoned Skull/Dark Magician) and his best friend's card (UFOroid and Red-Eyes Black Dragon/Flame Swordsman).
This card shares more similarities with  Black Skull Dragon, as both monsters made their debut appearance in a Tag-Team Duel against the Paradox Brothers.

Rulings

OCG Rulings

"A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters." is not treated as the effect of a monster.: UFOroid Fighter

When Fusion Summoning "UFOroid Fighter", you cannot apply the effect of "King of the Swamp".

The "The original ATK and DEF of this card become equal to the combined original ATK of the 2 Fusion Material Monsters you used for the Fusion Summon of this card." effect is a Continuous Effect.

If "UFOroid Fighter" is Special Summoned by a method other than Fusion Summon, for example the effect of "Cyber-Stein

Previously Official Rulings

If "
UFOroid Fighter" is Special Summoned with "Cyber-Stein" or "Metamorphosis", its original ATK & DEF will be zero.

If "UFOroid Fighter" is Special Summoned with "Power Bond", first apply the effect of "UFOroid Fighter" to determine its original ATK & DEF, and then apply the ATK increase of "Power Bond".

If "UFOroid Fighter" is on the field, and then "Skill Drain" is activated, the original ATK & DEF will be zero, and will remain zero even if "Skill Drain" is destroyed or negated.

You can Special Summon "UFOroid Fighter" using "UFOroid" and a monster that was changed to Warrior-Type with "DNA Surgery", etc.

Mentions in Other Rulings

Neo Space: If "UFOroid Fighter" is Fusion Summoned with "Elemental Hero Neos" being used as the 1 Warrior-Type monster, "UFOroid Fighter" will NOT be affected by "Neo Space" because "Elemental Hero Neos" is not listed by name on the card.

Power Bond: If you Fusion Summon "UFOroid Fighter" with 3000 ATK, and then later in the turn "Skill Drain" is activated, reducing its ATK to 0, you will still take 3000 points of damage during the End Phase. If you send "UFOroid Fighter" to the Graveyard so that its effect resets and its original ATK becomes zero, you still take damage equal to its original ATK at the time it was Special Summoned by "Power Bond".
