The Soul of the Duelist and Dark Revelation Volume 3 version of this card has the 0 (zero) written as O (the 15th alphabet). The reason for this is unknown, but this can easily be seen by comparing it with the O in the word becomes right next to it.
There is one other card that has a similar mistake, Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment.
This card's artwork is a reversal of My Body as a Shield (in which Marauding Captain shields Gagagigo from an attack made by Blazing Inpachi), as Gagagigo shields one of Marauding Captains men from "Invader of Darkness's attack.

You still perform damage calculation with "Spirit Barrier" even though the damage to the controller's Life Points becomes zero.
If you have 1 monster on the field, and "Airknight Parshath" attacks and destroys it, and would do extra damage, there is still a monster on the field when "Airknight Parshath's" effect would activate and resolve, so "Spirit Barrier's" effect is applied, "Airknight Parshath" inflicts zero damage to your Life Points, and your opponent does not draw 1 card for "Airknight Parshath's" effect.
