If a monster on the opponent's field is destroyed by battle or by a card effect, then the effect of "Shiba-Warrior Taro" will activate.: Will the effect of "Shiba-Warrior Taro" return it to the hand when a monster on the opponent's field is destroyed?

If an effect like "Book of Moon" is Chained to the effect of "Shiba-Warrior Taro" so that "Shiba-Warrior Taro" is face-down at resolution, then the effect of "Shiba-Warrior Taro" is not applied and "Shiba-Warrior Taro" is not returned to the hand.: When a card on the field is destroyed, will a face-down "Shiba-Warrior Taro" be returned to the hand?
