Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number C" or "CXyz" monster with the same Type as that monster you control but 1 Rank higher, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) Then, if possible, detach 1 Xyz Material from a monster your opponent controls and attach it to the Summoned monster as an Xyz Material.

This card can be seen as the ZEXAL counterpart to The Seal of Orichalcos as both Spells are used by antagonists and are a key part in their respective anime series' ploys.
This is also supported by their abilities to brainwash anyone who used them, appearing on their foreheads in the process.
While The Seal of Orichalcos caused the loser of a Duel with it active to lose their soul, this card has the power to make the loser of a Duel (with it activated) severely weakened or possibly killed, but only for members of the Astral and Barian worlds. But if humans use this card and lose a Duel, their memories during the brainwash are erased.
This card has a more limited but non-Type restrictive version: Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force.

OCG Rulings
This effect targets 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control.: Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force
You cannot target a face-down Xyz Monster you control.
If the monster targeted with "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" is face-down when it resolves, then the effect is not applied. (No Xyz Monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and the targeted Xyz Monster remains on the field.): If "Book of Moon" is Chained to "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", targeting the same monster, how does the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" resolve?
"Solemn Judgment" and "Solemn Warning" cannot negate the Special Summon treated as an Xyz Summon by the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force". However you can use "Solemn Judgment" and "Solemn Warning" to negate the activation of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force".: When an Xyz Summon is performed by "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", can "Solemn Judgment" or "Solemn Warning" be used to negate that Summon?
If there are monsters on your opponent's side of the field with Xyz Material when "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" resolves, its effect to take 1 of those materials and attach it to the Special Summoned monster will take place after it is Special Summoned, so "Torrential Tribute" cannot be activated. If there are no monsters on your opponent's side of the field with Xyz Material when "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" resolves, "Torrential Tribute" can be activated.: After resolving "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", can you activate "Torrential Tribute"?
If "Forbidden Lance" is Chained to the activation of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force", the targeted monster becomes unaffected by Spell Cards. In this case, the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" is not applied. No Xyz Monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and the targeted Xyz Monster remains on the field.: If "Forbidden Lance" is Chained to "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" targeting the same Xyz Monster, is the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" still applied?
