This monster's appearance is based of the stereotypical cowboy (with the addition of the torn cape) as well as a projector.
This card was the first support card for the Synchron archetype.
This card has the highest Level of the Synchrons, tied with Accel Synchron.
The three lights on this monster's crest are the standard colors for a projector or television, but they could also represent the first three Synchro Warriors,
Blue/Purple = Junk Warrior
Green = Nitro Warrior
Red = Turbo Warrior
The lights may also represent a three second countdown before the Synchron draws and fires its gun, as would a cowboy in a duel.
Ironically, unless this card's Level is reduced (i.e. via Level Tuning, Demotion, Silent Strider or Level Eater), you cannot use it to Summon Junk Warrior, since this card is Level 5, the same as the Level of Junk Warrior.
This card, Junk Anchor, Righty Driver, and Vanadis of the Nordic Ascendant are the only substitute Synchro Materials in the game.
These four cards are also used by characters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime and manga (this card by Yusei, Junk Anchor and Righty Driver by his manga counterpart and Vanadis by Halldor. Coincidentally, Yusei and Halldor also Dueled each other at one point in the anime series.

Special Summoning this card using the "You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by sending 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard." effect does not start a Chain Link. Sending 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard is part of the procedure that Special Summons this card. Sending 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard and Special Summoning this card are not considered to happen simultaneously.
When this card is Special Summoned using its own effect, "Solemn Judgment" can negate the Special Summon.
