Card Trivia

This card has the highest original DEF among Warrior monsters released to the TCG/OCG.
This monster resembles monsters of the Numerounius archetype, which are used by Don Thousand, the final antagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime.
This mirrors a similar pattern with D/D/D Super Doom King Dark Armageddon, a monster used in the final battle by Declan Akaba of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime, who resembles Don Thousand.
It appears to have elements of XX-Saber monsters as well in name and appearance because of the scarf.
This card's name also appears to reference the final monster used by E'Rah in the manga, Dystopia the Despondent, whose name was originally translated in the manga as Anti-Hope, God of Despair.
This card is the first Number monster that does not have Arabic numerals in its name.
Similar to how other Numbers bear their numeral insignia somewhere on their body, Dark Infinity sports a Double X (stylized in Barian glyphs) on its shield.
This card is the first Number monster to debut in the manga after the ZEXAL era, as well as the first Number not related to a ZEXAL storyline at all.
In the Manga, unlike other Xyz Monsters, this card's Rank is aligned to the right side of the card, rather than the left.
