You can chain “Morphtronic Forcefield” to effects that do not target, like “Dark Hole”.: Crimson Crisis -- Card Rulings (version 2.0)

You cannot chain “Morphtronic Forcefield” to effects that are uncertain to destroy a “Morphtronic” monster like “Fissure” or “Smashing Ground”, even if the only monsters you control are “Morphtronic” monsters.

If you don’t have any “Morphtronicmonsters in your Deck, you cannot activate “Morphtronic Forcefield”.From the card lore, it should say "Morphtronic "cards"".

You can only chain “Morphtronic Forcefield” to a card that destroys a “Morphtronic” monster at resolution, not to a card that will destroy one in the future. So you cannot chain it to “Ekibyo Drakmord”, “Blind Destruction”, or “Needle Wall”.

You cannot activate “Morphtronic Forcefield” if “Thunder King Rai-Oh” is on the field. If an effect is chained to “Morphtronic Forcefield” that Summons “Thunder King Rai-Oh”, you will not be able to add a “Morphtronic” monster to your hand, but “Morphtronic Forcefield” will still negate the Spell or Trap Card that it was chained to.

"Morphtronic Forcefield" does not target.: Bending Destiny

It can be activated even during the Damage Step.

You can activate this card if a Spell/Trap Card that destroys a "Morphtronic" monster(s) you control is activated, even if it is a card such as "Torrential Tribute" etc. that does not target.

When "Smashing Ground" or "Fissure" is activated, even if "Morphtronic" monsters are the only monsters on the field, you cannot activate "Morphtronic Forcefield". Also, if "Torrential Tribute" is activated while there is a "Morphtronic" monsters on the field, "Morphtronic Forcefield" can be activated in Chain. Furthermore, when the opponent activates "Mirror Force", if there is a face-up Attack Position "Morphtronic" monster on your field, "Morphtronic Forcefield" can be activated in Chain.: Can "Morphtronic Forcefield" be activated in Chain to the activation of a card that does not target?

"Morphtronic Forcefield" cannot be activated in Chain to the activation of a Spell/Trap Card for which it is undetermined whether or not it will destroy a "Morphtronic" monster when it is activated. Consequently, it cannot be activated in Chain to "Needle Wall" or "Blind Destruction".: Can "Morphtronic Forcefield" be activated in Chain to the activation of effect that may or may not destroy a card?

You cannot activate "Morphtronic Forcefield" when you have no "Morphtronic" cards in your Deck.: Can "Morphtronic Forcefield" be activated even if there are no "Morphtronic" cards in your the Deck?
