The opponent's attacking monster is still considered to be "the attacking monster" after it switched control by the effect of "
Mirror Gate{{SpanElemental Hero Neos" with his "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" while Player B controls a face-up "Skyscraper". Player B responds to "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"s attack with "Mirror Gate". When "Mirror Gate" resolves, both monsters switch control and the battle is taken to the "calculate damage" portion of the Damage Step. Since "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is still the attacking monster, the effect of "Skyscraper" will not be applied as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon{{SpanElemental Hero" monster.: Mirror Gate's interaction with Skyscraper.

This card's most recent errata means that during the End Phase the control of the affected monsters change only if both are still present on the field. If one of them is not present on the field at that time, the remaining one doesn't change control.: post by Kevin Tewart
