Card Trivia

Capping out at 3000, this card and Elemental Hero Storm Neos, Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon, Armed Dragon LV10 and Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode have the fourth highest ATK of all WIND monsters. SKY FIRE is the strongest of these when accounting its 500 more DEF. The third strongest is Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste, the second strongest is Shooting Star Dragon, and the first is Majestic Star Dragon.
This card, Greiger's Signature Card, shares the same ATK with not only Chazz's WIND-Attribute Armed Dragon, but Seto's Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Jack's Red Dragon Archfiend. Coincidentally (though most likely arranged), Seto, Chazz, and Jack (and to a lesser extent Greiger as well) all take the role of rival in their series.
The card seems to be based on the .
This card appears in the artwork of Delta Reactor.
All three of the Reactor monsters that combine to form this monster happen to be DARK, while the result is for some reason a WIND monster.
The three explosions on the background of this card are all in each of the other Reactor monsters.
This monster looks similar to Big Duo from the Big O anime.
The SKY FIRE part of this card's name is derived from the last parts of the names of the 3 monsters used to Summon it. The first two letters come from Summon Reactor・SK which makes for SK, then the next three letters come from Trap Reactor・Y FI which now makes for SKY FI, and the last 2 letters come from Spell Reactor・RE which makes for SKY FIRE.
In the Japanese version, the Reactors are called Summon Reactor・AI, Trap Reactor ・RR, and Magic Reactor ・AID. Their suffixes spell AIRRAID, while Flying Fortress SKY FIRE's name is Giant Bomber Airraid.
This card was not censored in the 4Kids version of the anime.
SKY FIRE is also the name of a Transformers robot that appeared in G-1 only to later be renamed Jet Fire.
This card's Japanese name translates to Giant Bomber Airraid. Air Raid is the name of a different Transformers robot.
This card's Summoning conditions are very similar to Meklord Astro Mekanikle, Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, Machina Force, Water Dragon and Gate Guardian.
All of those cards are also the only TCG/OCG combined form monsters that aren't Fusion Monsters nor require their parts to be removed from play to summon them like the A-to-Z series and Armityle the Chaos Phantasm.
