Card Trivia

This card is correspondent to the Monkey geoglyph.
Cusillu(K'usillu)means monkey in the Quechua language. It can also be translated as buffoon or clown.
This card's last two effects may reference Devack's (this card's owner in the anime) everlasting damage against the Duel Monsters Spirit World since the Minus Curse was almost impossible to get rid of. Zeman the Ape King would later transfer the curse to Devack after his defeat and sacrifice by Regulus thus keeping it active until Devack was defeated (referencing this card's effect of tributing another monster to keep itself from being destroyed). The burn damage effect of Cusillu may reference the heavy damage to the Spirit World because of the Minus Curse.
In the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, because it is never explained why Devack became a Dark Signer and that one symbolism of monkeys is harbingers of mischief (the animal that this Immortal resembles,) this card may represent Devack's role as being a mere troublemaker deterrent for the Signers just because he is at one point associated with the Dark Signers himself and aiding the others with their directives.  Moreover, as monkeys are often portrayed in the media as jokesters, this may allude to him poking fun at Leo during their Duel because the latter wasn't a Signer at the time of their Duel.
