Rulings

TCG Rulings

“Assault Revival” can only Special Summon an “/Assault Mode” monster that was properly Special Summoned in the first place, and was then sent to the Graveyard. It cannot Special Summon an “/Assault Mode” monster that was directly sent to the Graveyard from the hand or Deck.: Crimson Crisis -- Card Rulings (version 2.0)

Only effects on the field are negated by “Assault Revival”. If an “/Assault Mode” monster is Special Summoned with “Assault Revival{{Spanremoved from play because of “Assault Revival”’s effect), its effect does activate and the appropriate Synchro Monster is Special Summoned.

You must destroy at least 1 monster you control with “Assault Revival” in order to Special Summon an “/Assault Mode” monster, as the effects are linked. You also must destroy all monsters you control, so if 1 of your monsters was not destroyed, you cannot Summon an “/Assault Mode” monster.

A monster Special Summoned with “Assault Revival” cannot activate its effects even if “Pole Position” makes it unaffected by Spell Cards.

If an “/Assault Mode” monster is Special Summoned with “Assault Revival”, and is flipped face-down, the restrictions from “Assault Revival” are wiped and you can Tribute it and (once it is face-up again) activate its effects.

This card targets the “/Assault Mode” monster in the Graveyard that you wish to Special Summon.

OCG Rulings

This card targets one ":/Assault Mode" Monster in your Graveyard.: Spell Card > Assault Revival

When resolving the effect of "Assault Revival", if it cannot destroy all monsters on your field, then you do not Special Summon the ":Assault Mode" monster.: When the effect of "Assault Revival" cannot destroy any monsters, can it Special Summon from your Graveyard?

If "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" is not destroyed by "Assault Revival", then "Assault Revival" will not Special Summon the ":Assault Mode" monster from your Graveyard since you did not destroy all monsters you control.

When an ":/Assault Mode" monster is Special Summoned by "Assault Revival" and then removed from play by "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", the monster is treated as being removed from play by "Assault Revival". The monster remains removed from play, and does not return during the End Phase.: After being Special Summoned by "Assault Revival", when the monster is removed from play by "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", does it return to the field?

If "Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode" etc is Special Summoned by "Assault Revival", when the monster is later destroyed and removed from play, its effect does not activate on the field, so it will not be negated. You can Special Summon a "Red Dragon Archfiend" etc.: When a monster Special Summoned by "Assault Revival" is destroyed, can the Syncho Monster be Special Summoned?

When an ":/Assault Mode" monster is Special Summoned by "Assault Revival", if it is flipped face-down by "Book of Moon" etc, then the effect of "Assault Revival" is no longer applied. The monster does not have its effects negated, can be Tributed, and is not removed from play when it leaves the field.: When a monster Special Summoned by "Assault Revival" is turned face-down, is it removed from play?

"Assault Revival" can only Special Summon an ":/Assault Mode" monster if it was first properly Special Summoned by "Assault Mode". If the ":/Assault Mode" monster is sent directly from the Deck/Hand to the Graveyard, it cannot be Special Summoned by "Assault Revival".: Can the effect of "Assault Revival" Special Summon a monster that was sent directly from the Deck to the Graveyard?
