Card Trivia

This monster is the opposite of A Cat of Ill Omen:
This card searches a Spell Card, while the other a Trap Card.
Both monsters are Flip and either topdeck or add the card to the hand, depending if Necrovalley is present.
Both monsters have inversed ATK and DEF of one another, as well as the same level.
One is Beast, the other Winged-Beast.
Both monsters' names are the opposite; this monster refers to good luck instead of bad luck.
Both names are phonetically similar
Like the above Monster, this card's respective animal carries a superstition. If you see an owl during the day, you will suffer bad luck. Its name refers to good luck instead, which is likely due to the fact it is shown during the night in its artwork.

If "Necrovalley" is not face-up on the field, when this card's effect is activated, the selected Field Spell Card is placed on the top of the Deck.: Effect Monster > An Owl of Luck

If "Necrovalley" is face-up on the field, when this card's effect is activated, it is optional to choose if the selected Field Spell Card will be placed on the top of the Deck, or in the hand.

You must show the selected Field Spell Card

Previously Official Rulings

Show the card to your opponent.

If "
Imperial Order" & "Necrovalley" are both active, and "An Owl of Luck" is flipped, you add the card to your hand because "Necrovalley" is face-up on the field, even though its effect is negated.

If "Mystical Space Typhoon" is chained to the effect to destroy "Necrovalley", so that "Necrovalley" is not on the field when this effect resolves, you cannot place the card in your hand.

You select the card for this effect when the effect resolves, not when it activates.
